Panel 1: The kid sitting alone on their bed in the high empty walls of their room as the parent leaves out the door. Panel 2: The kid in the present as the style returns to normal, hugging their knees with their eyes shut. Panel 3: They open their eyes with a wary expression of acceptance that they will not be helped.
