Chapter:

Panel 1: 2 men tying the snake to a log with a rope. The snake is struggling and arcing off the log but the men don't look bothered. Panel 2: Someone pulls on a rope tied to the wolf pup's neck, who is straining against it with his tail between his legs. There is a muzzle over his face. Panel 3: People are carrying off the log over their shoulders with the snake still tied to it. A bearded man with a large hammer walks behind the girl going in the same direction. She looks down dejectedly.
